Mom looked up my wedding weather prediction in the 2009 Farmer's Almanac. Looks pretty promising---SUNNY and cool. Not bad for August 1st. Apparently, just for the fun of it, she also viewed the forecast for Cincinnati the same day...RAIN! If this turns out to be, my destination wedding is even better. Hope it's right!Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Healthy Ideas
With Vitamin String Quartet, I have found spunky musical inspiration for the ceremony. You know, just the right amount.

Au Naturel
Tasting #1

Katie's future mother-in-law Melissa brought home a pork loin one day so they could experiment with different recipes for the wedding. They both stayed up LATE Saturday night to prepare a little "tasting" for all of us. Thanks Katie and Melissa! It was fun getting together again. Isaac and his brother Jacob took the opportunity to tease Katie, while Morgan, Isaac's little sister, now 8 years old, contimplated the differences between a flower girl and a junior bridesmaid. The food was good: pork loin medallians prepared two different ways, corn with some unique toppings, the best rolls that Kroger could offer (not what we have planned for the wedding!) and a scrumptious salad. Whether or not these make it to the wedding--you will just have to wait and see. But I know one thing--I'm looking forward to more of these "tastings"! Yum! Katie and Melissa love to cook!----MOB (mother of bride)
